‘Grow Gainesville’ plans free forum on urban agriculture

Aired on WUFT on July 19th, 2011

“Urban Agriculture” is fast catching on across the country. Many people who live in urban settings want to grow their own food or raise their own chickens, but sometimes county ordinances don’t allow such activity. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Donna Green-Townsend talked with Gary Hankins, one of the organizers with “Grow Gainesville” which is holding a free public forum tomorrow (Wednesday) night from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Gainesville Public Library on the subject.
